Mr. Waseem Ullah Marwat, M.Phil Scholar of the Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis, “Security Compulsions of Weak States after 9/11 (2001): A Case Study of Pakistan. “
On the occasion External Examiner Dr. Muhammad Bilal, renowned educationist and Expert of Pakistan Affairs, applauded the scholar’s for his research work on Pakistan Security and Strategic problems particularly after the incident of 9/11 (2001) and its severe impact on Pakistan’s state and society.
Prof. Dr. A.Z. Hilali, Ex-Chairman, Department of Political Science highlighted that it is the 14th M.Phil in the department. Waseem Ullah Marwat’s research work provides excellent overview on the multidimensional security vulnerabilities of Pakistan and Security establishment measures for the protection of the state. Waseem Ullah Marwat was supervised by renowned Professor Dr. A. Z. Hilali, Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar. His thesis was examined by one internal examiner and two external experts from various renowned institutions of the country.
