Teacher training workshop held

Tanzeem-e-Asatiza District Peshawar on Thursday organized one-day training workshop on modern and motivational ways of teachings. Large number of teachers from different schools of the city participated in the event. Professor Mohammad Abbass, Vice Principal Govt High School No 1, Peshawar Cantt, Shamshad Jhagra, Secretary of Tanzeem-e-Asatiza, Ubaidullah, Mian Ziaul Rehman and Vice President of the association Khairullah Hawari addressed the workshop.

Professor Mohammad Abbass advised teachers to adopt realistic approach in their teaching style. He said the teachers should avoid giving physical punishment to students instead he added they should use a friendly method of teaching so that the students could respect them instead of getting afraid of the teachers.

Vice President of the association Khairullah Hawari demanded the government to notify the timescale for teachers. He said 0.9 million teachers of the Peshawar were expecting the recommendations made by Pay & Pension Commission (PPC) to be implemented by the government. Hawari demanded employees’ scale revision and adhoc relief for the teachers in basic salaries.
