A two-week training course on SCADA system with emphasis on PLC programming has concluded here at the Continuing Engineering Education Center (CEEC). The course was designed for engineering professionals and fresh engineers to pursue their career in automation and industrial controls. The Dean Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Zahid Mehmood gave away certificates to the participants. Dr. Zahid Mehmood said CEEC has grown into a professional center serving the needs of communities which is evident from the level of participation from PESCO, Pakistan Ordinance Factory, WAPDA and Sarhad Rural Support Programme. He urged the management to expand its scope for better utilization of resources and benefit the society by introducing latest knowledge and best practices in the field of engineering. Engr. Asif Shah, Director CEEC said the Center registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council is a professional development center established in 2006 with HEC funding. Since its inception, it has been actively engaged in networking with private and public sector organizations for the promotion of knowledge and technical engineering skills.
