Training workshop held for population planning staff

Population Welfare Department FATA arranged a one-day training workshop for Family Welfare Workers of all the seven agencies at Peshawar to refresh the knowledge and skills of the workers of the Department. According to a press release, issued here Tuesday, Deputy Director Population Welfare FATA, Dr. Rauf Wazir addressing the participants said such workshops help provide quality family planning services to the poor people of FATA. While commenting on the needs for best Population Welfare Services in FATA, he appreciated the workshop and exhibited his firm commitment to provide Quality Family planning services to the poor people of FATA through well trained hands.

Around 45 Female staff from Bajaur, Mohmand,Khyber, Orakzai, Kuram, North Waziristan, South Waziristan and FRs attended the workshop.

Health Services Center,Ghalanai and Izhar Khan APWO Mohmand conducted the workshop.
All the staff wholeheartedly participated in the deliberations and shared their inputs in discussions. Contraceptive Methods, Counseling and their job descriptions were discussed threadbare.
In the end, Dr.Rauf Wazir awarded certificates among the
participants.
