Training workshops ends

 A series of training workshops organized for Public Information Officers (PIOs) by Right to Information Commission was concluded here on Wednesday at KP Judicial Academy (KPJA). The series of workshops were aimed at educating the PIOs about right to information of citizens and also legally prepare them to deliver the system effectively. Speaking on the occasion, Khyber Pakhtukhwa Senior Provincial Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said that RTI Act -2013 was initiated by provincial government to ensure transparency in government affairs and empower citizens. Meanwhile, speaking on the occasion Chief Information Commissioner, Right to Information Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Major (R) Sahibzada Muhammad Khalid told the PIOs that being public servants they were responsible to assist public never to create hurdles.
