The University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar (UET) on Thursday decided to set up an entry test centre in Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan for the candidates seeking admission to the institution. Talking to reporters’ registrar UET Peshawar Prof Saeed Javed Tajik said the establishment of the test centre in Gomal University was aimed at facilitating the candidates of Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu and adjacent areas seeking admission to the UET Peshawar. He said the decision was taken to facilitate the candidates and those accompanying them so that they don’t have to travel to Peshawar in the sizzling heat.
