The Advanced Studies and Research of the University of Peshawar has given go ahead to eight PhD and twenty seven M. Phil scholars to pursue their research after approval in its monthly meeting held in the Committee Room No.1. The meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan also gave extension in time to three PhD and three M. Phil scholars for completion of their research. A Total number of ten PhD topics were presented by the concerned students, however two of them were differed with the advise to make necessary changes and bring the same in the coming meeting of ASRB.
Meanwhile The office of the Controller Examinations University of Peshawar has declared the supplementary result of BA, B.Sc, B. Sc Nursing and Islamic Theology for the session 2013. A total number of 9638 students appeared in the examination amongst which 4177 were declared passed. The overall passing percentage stood as 44%.
