The Department of International Relations organized a seminar on “Promoting Peace and Democracy through Critical Thinking among Youth on Campuses” in collaboration with Bargad an organization which works on Youth Development here on Friday. The main focus of this seminar was to highlight the importance of critical thinking in the development of a human society. In this regard the Muhammad Faheem and Khurshaid, Lecturers in the Department, presented their topics on “Core Critical Thinking Skills” and “Obstacles to Critical Thinking” respectively. The Chairman of the Department summarized the proceedings of the seminar in his keynote address by saying that Critical Thinking is to look at the different angles of a reality on the basis of analysis and logical reasoning.
