The Hannam University, Republic of Korea and University of Peshawar have inked Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in undergraduate programs offered at either institution, which would be, deemed feasible in term of the promotion and development of goodwill, between the two countries. The MoU to remain effective for five years was signed by Dean of Student and Human Resource Development Affairs of Hannam University IL- Gyu Jeong and Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz on Monday at University of Peshawar.
Under the agreement the two institutions would exchange students, faculty members, academic materials and besides arranging short term academic and cultural programs.
The institutions have agreed to exchange full time students for one year, said IL Gyu Jeong on the occasion. He added the host institution will accept the students selected by the other partner, the record of which would be maintained by the designated liaisons officers of the MoU.
Established in the year 1956, Hannam University South Korea is one of the oldest institutions and has played a great role in the economic development of the country, said the visiting Dean.
