VC KMU calls for HR practice

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University (KMU) has said that in the face of numerous emerging challenges, growing stakeholder’s expectations and changing trends in Human Resources the universities have to transform its HR practices according to the international standards. He was addressing inaugural session of the three days capacity building workshop on Human Resource Management, Office Automation and Effective Communication Skills for the administrative staff of KMU here on Thursday.

The main objective of this three day workshop is to build capacity of the employees and to ensure optimal output in line with overall objectives of the university. All mid-career level Officers of the university, i.e. Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, Office Managers, and Superintendents & Office Assistants were the participants of this workshop. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah congratulated the organizers especially the major resource person and coordinator of the workshop Hafiz Ahmad Dy. Registrar of the university by convening such an effective workshop for capacity building of the university employees.He said a service structure for all cadres of the university is in progress and a board based committee comprising HR experts has been constituted for that matter. Whenever the committee will finalized the draft recommendations it would be put on the agenda of the relevant forums for final approval, he added.
