Watchman locks school to press for job permanent

Students had to suffer as watchman of a school appointed on contract locked the institution for not regularising his service. According to details, the watchman of Government Primary School No 1 Sheikh Muhammadi died six months ago after which his son Alamgeer replaced him. 

The land on which the school building was built was provided by the watchman with the conditions of provision of permanent employment but the promise was not fulfilled despite passage of six month after which he locked the school four days earlier to lodge protest and get his demands fulfilled.

It should be mentioned here that more than 500 students get education in the said school who were facing problems to continue academic services.

The students, parents and members of civil society have demanded the provincial government and education department officials to resolve the issue soon.
