KP Youth Employment Program – KPYEP Introducing a series of courses for women across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to master digital skills, expand their employment opportunities, and know-how of the ever-evolving digital world. The project aims to train 3000 women across the seven divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including newly merged districts on employable digital skills to ensure women’s inclusion in the digital economy.
Women Empowerment Program by KP Youth Employment Program “Women Empowerment through Digital Skills” is an initiative of the KP Youth Employment Program (KPYEP), a project of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, funded by Multi-Donor Trust Fund and The World Bank and executed by DEMO and Tech Valley Pakistan.
Empowering Women through digital skills development, Advisor To CM KP On ST&IT Zia Ullah Bangash launched KPITB’s women-centric capacity-building project “Women Empowerment Through Digital Skills”.
“KP govt ensuring that women have the necessary digital skills to succeed in today’s technology-driven world. Through these initiatives, KP govt is setting a road map to achieve the goal of Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The project aims to ensure women’s inclusion in the digital economy and providing them digital jobs.
Under the ‘Women Empowerment through Digital Skills’ 3000 women will be trained across the province on employable digital skills. The certified women will be able to earn money through online platforms as well while working from the comfort of their homes.
Under the project ‘Digital Jobs in KP’, PTI led KP govt is keen to create maximum jobs and skill development opportunities for the youth of the province”. — Zia Ullah Bangash said while addressing the launching ceremony
