The Quality Enhancement Cell, Islamia College Peshawar has organized a daylong seminar on “What is Plagiarism and Use of Turnitin” for the PhD faculty members here on Wednesday. Mr. Ajmal Khan, Vice-Chancellor, ICP was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Sareer Badshah, Registrar, ICP was also present at the occasion. Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Khan, Deputy Director-QEC was the Resource person. Most of the PhD faculty members were present in the workshop.
The workshop aimed at apprising the PhD faculty members about Plagiarism and how to detect it through software called Turnitin. The participants were also educated about the use of the said software. They were informed about the HEC policy on plagiarism.
