Over one hundred laptops were distributed among deserving students of BS four years degree programme of three University of Peshawar departments, comprising Department of Mathematics, Social Work and Sociology under the Naway Sahar scheme.
Chairman Department of Mathematics Gulzar Ahmed Khan and Director Institute of Social Work Sociology and Gender Studies Prof. Dr. Muhammad Niaz distributed Laptops among students in a ceremony held at the Convocation Hall University of Peshawar.
Director Admissions Prof. Dr. Hizbullah Khan and staff of the student financial aid office were also present on the occasion. The Laptop distribution ceremony started for all the BS departments of UoP from the 18th of this month and the process would be completed by April 18, 2013.
Two thousand eight hundred and fifty four Laptops will be distributed among as many students of thirty nine University of Peshawar Departments under the Provincial Government`s Naway Sahar Laptops Scheme.
It is worthwhile that so far five hundred and forty nine Laptops have been distributed among students of fifteen BS Departments of University of Peshawar.
