Begum Corps Commander Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani inaugurated a three days 42th Annual Chrysanthemum show at Garrison Park Peshawar Cantt. During the inauguration of the show, Begum Corps Commander who was the chief guest on the occasion also distributed prizes amongst winners. In all a total of 6 categories, prizes were distributed and the over all first position and Governor Challenge Trophy was won by Cantonment Board Peshawar while Air HQ lifted Chief Minister Challenge Cup runner up trophy. Speaking on the occasion, Begum Corps Commander said that taking part in such exhibition we express our aesthetic sense and compliment wonders of nature. Plants make our environments beautiful, pollution free and the world a batter place she added. Earlier, wife of Cantonment Executive Officer Peshawar presented the welcome address. She also apprised the participants about background and importance of holding such exhibitions.
The inauguration session of Annual Chrysanthemum Show was attended by people belonging to all walks of life. Three days chrysanthemum show has been organized jointly by Cantonment Board Peshawar and Station Headquarters Peshawar Cantt.
