Today an event titled “A Trip Around the World” was celebrated at Lahore Grammar School by the Pre School children.
Countries depicted were China, Saudi Arabia, France, Italy and United Kingdom. Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Dr Shafi Afridi was the chiefguest on the occasion.
Dr Afridi while speaking highlighted the importance of such functions and also appriciated the efforts put in by the staff and young students. An amazing show was put up by 4 and 5 year old kids.
It was unbelievable to see such small children talk about International landmarks like the Great Wall of China, Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Khana-e-Kaba, the City of Venice, the Buckingham Palace and the Colosseum etc.
Children gave presentation about food, clothes, national games/flower about these cities and valuable hands-on and minds-on learning took place. The function was attended by a large no of parents.
