Scholar Muhammad Alamzeb has been recommended for award of Ph. D in Chemistry after successful defence of his thesis in a ceremony held at Institute of Chemical Sciences, University of Peshawar. The topic of his thesis was, “ Phytochemical and Biological Investigation on Berberis Jaeschakeana Schneid VAR. Jaschkeana and Berberis Glaucocarpa Stafpe“. Prof. Dr. Rafiullah Khan of the Institute of Chemical Sciences was his Ph.D supervisor while Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Shah served as the scholar external examiner. The public defence was attended by Director Institute of Chemical Sciences Prof. Dr. Yousaf Iqbal, faculty members and students of ICS.
