Awami National Party’s parliamentary leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and a former provincial education minister Sardar Hussain Babak has expressed concern over the delay in implementation of service structure for teachers.

In a press statement, he said that the government was using delaying tactics in implementing the service structure due to which the teachers were not only deprived of their rights but the precious time of students was also going waste.

He said that filling thousands of vacant positions in middle, high and higher secondary schools and announcing service structure for the teachers was a great achievement of the ANP government. But the present government delayed implementation of the service structure causing uncertainty among the teaching community.

He said that the education emergency of the current government proved to be a mere hollow slogan and the reforms made by the previous government were also suspended to paralyse the education system in the province.
