ANP warns govt against removing chapters on Bacha Khan from syllabus

Awami National Party (ANP) Pakhtunkhwa Organizing Committee Chairman Bashir Ahmad Khan Matta has criticized the provincial government for its the decision to remove the essays on Bacha Khan and Ghani Khan from class 6th and 7th from Pashto books.

This he said on Saturday in a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz, Bashir Khan said that Bacha Khan has play a significant role for the independence of Pakhtun nation and he was always belief on peace as in current situation all of his philosophy was true as the other nation was also follows his philosophy of peace.

He further said that National poet of Pashtun Ghani Khan as he was the poet of peace and harmony and he was the only poet of South-Asia who was like with the same category with Allama Iqbal and Rabinder North Tigor. He said that the elimination of essay of Bacha Khan and Ghhani Khan from the syllabus of class 6th and 7th was a great conspiracy against the Pakhtun leaders and the provincial government were reacting on the agenda of west, adding and giving threats that if the decision was not taken back the provincial government will face tuff resistance and all the situation would be responsible by the government.
