College students protest against adviser to CM

The Muttahida Mahaz students of Government College Peshawar Tuesday staged protest against the Member Provincial Assembly Ziaullah Afridi for ransacking of furniture and manhandling a college lecturer.


The protesters, holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the provincial government, gathered outside the Peshawar Press Club and chanted slogans.They alleged that led by the PTI member provincial assembly and advisor to chief minister on Mines and Mineral Ziaullah Afridi and parliamentary secretary Javed Waseem, the members of Insaf Students Federation (ISF) ransacked furniture at the college, resorted to fire into the air and tortured the lecturer.


They said the college was closed down for an indefinite time after the incident. They demanded Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to remove the advisor and parliamentary secretary from their post forthwith.
