‘Edwardes College has rich tradition’ F.P Report

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Shaukatullah has said that the Edwarde’s College carries rich history of making significant contribution towards promotion of education and no effort will be spared in enabling it to maintain its credible role in this respect in future. 

He was presiding over a meeting on working of the institution at Governor’s House here on Tuesday

The meeting was also attended by Advisor to Chief Minister on Higher Education, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and representatives of provincial Higher Education and Finance departments, besides Bishop of Peshawar, vice chancellors of universities of Peshawar and Haripur and the other concerned. 

The meeting after having detail review of certain administrative and policy matters especially with regard to appointment of principal and vice principal of the college also constituted a high level committee under the chairmanship of the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Higher Education to thoroughly examine prevailing situation in this respect and come up with viable recommendations within the current month for consideration of the board.
