Entry tests for admission in M.Sc in Epidemiology, Bio statistics and Nursing at Khyber Medical University held here at Institute of Physical Medicine. The spokesman of the university said on Monday that a total 89 applicants including 21 for Epidemiology and 68 for Nursing appeared in the entry exams. The interviews of the successful candidates would be held on December 14 and 16 while the final merit list would be displayed on December 19. The official said that fee for the admission would be collected on January 6, 2014 while the classes would start from January 3.
Director Academics Professor Dr. Shad Muhammad said that KMU has first time introduced M.Sc programmes in Nursing and Epidemiology, adding that the higher qualification in the two disciplines would provide opportunities to the officials related to the fields to improve their qualifications and get better employment opportunities.
