Minister for Finance Engr Hamayun Khan has said that provincial government is solving the problems of the teachers’ community on priority basis and he is taking personal interest in matters including up gradation of CT Teachers.
Talking to a delegation of All CT Teachers’ Association (ACTA) on Thursday the Finance Minister assured that the issues related to the teaching community would be solved and no stone would be left unturned in this regard. Minister for Finance assured the delagation that he would personally talk to Minister for Education Sardar Hussain Babak about the problems faced by the teachers.
Secretary Finance Sahibzada Saeed Ahmed and Additional Secretary Bashir Khan were also present on the occasion. The delegation comrised of ACTA’s Senior Vice President Hamidul Haq, Provincial General Secretry Sattar Khan, Chairman Wahab Mansori, Press Secretary Fazal Mabood Saim, Aziz Ahmed, Fazal Wahab, Tahir Muhammad, Master Noor Muhammad, and Adul Sattar informed the minister about their grievances.
The delegation informed the minister that CT teachers were ignored in the formula of promotions and even after spending 25 years in service they were deprived of up gradation to Grade 16.
