IG FC gives cash to position holder in SSC exam

Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC) Major General Ghayur Mahmood awarded Rs. 50,000 and commendation certificate to Muhammad Tahir belonging to Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency, who clinched second position in class 9th in SSC Annual Examination conducted by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar.

The IGFC presented the cash award to Muhammad Tahir at FC Headquarters here on Thursday. He also announced to bear all the annual expenses including books, stationary and tuition fee etc of the brilliant student. 

The IGFC reiterated the firm resolve of the Frontier Corps KP to bring peace in Fata and ensure a conducive environment for socio-economic development of tribesmen.it is worth mentioning that FC is not only fighting the war against terror and militancy to ensure peace and security in FATA and PATA but at the same time doing unprecedented efforts for the socio economic development and welfare of the people.

Frontier Corps KP is fully committed to educate the youth of FATA and PATA in this regard. In this regard, there are 15 schools working under Frontier Corps. Apart from these schools, Scouts Children Academy Hayatabad and Cadet College Warsak are playing significant role in promoting quality education under the direct administration of Frontier Corps. A total of 7242 students are receiving quality education from these institutions, which testify the efforts put in by Frontier Corps in education sector.

Furthermore, various facilities such as scholarships for higher education, prevision of hostel facilities and quality education at a very nominal fee is the hallmark of Frontier Corps KP.
