NBF book fair concludes

A three-day book fair organized by National Book Foundation (NBF) at Agriculture University Peshawar concluded on Saturday.
More than 26 vendors and booksellers across the country participated including Progressive International, Vanguard, National Book Foundation, Book Field, Allied Book Company, Ocean Books, Pak Book Corporation and Academic Book.

Dean Agriculture University, Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Naeem inaugurated the book fair and appreciated the services of National Book Foundation for the promotion of books culture in Pakistan.

“Book is a true companion of its lovers and it shares with the readers during the moments of solitude,” he added.

The Regional Incharge of National Book Foundation Peshawar, Murad Ail announced the reader’s club scheme to all students and participants of Agriculture University book fair.

On this occasion, the National Book Foundation also launched its two mobile bookshops and provided the books to the students on 50% discount.

Murad Ali said that the real purpose of organizing this book fair is to provide door step services to the book lovers.
He further informed that up till now 1460 members have been registered in National Book Foundation readers club scheme at Peshawar.
