Peshawar High Court on Thursday regularized 250 female lecturers of 16 female colleges being run by Frontier Education Foundation. The division bench consists of Chief Justice Dost Mohammad Khan and Justice Qaiser Rasheed passed the orders while hearing a writ petition filed by female lecturers of Frontier Education Foundation.

Lawyer of the female lecturer argued before the court that 250 female lecturers from last 10 years are working on fix pay in various colleges of Frontier Education Foundation and the administration has taking no interest in regularization of their service.

The lawyer for petitioner Saira Naz, contended that Peshawar High Court had already passed an ordered for regularization of 80 lecturers and Supreme Court of Pakistan has upheld the decision of PHC but the administration did not implement the court orders and delayed the regularization of the lecturers.

A female lecturer appeared before the court and informed the court that director of Frontier Education Foundation had warned her for dire consequence if she appeared before the court.

The court directed the counsel for Frontier Education Foundation to stop director the foundation from such behavior. The Bench on this occasion ordered that in light of Supreme Court of Pakistan’ s decision all female lecturers be regularized.
