Scholars Ghulam Dastagir, Zahir Muhammad and Mushraf Khan recommended for award of Ph. D degree in Botany
Three Ph. D scholars; Ghulam Dastagir, Zahir Muhammad and Mushraf Khan were recommended for the award of Ph. D degree after successful public defence of their thesis, held on the same day ( Monday February 18, 2013) at the of the Department of Botany University of Peshawar.
The topic of Ghulam Dastagir thesis was, “Pharmacognostic study of some Important Species of family Zygophyllaceae and Euphorbiaceae from Pakistan”.
The topic of scholar Zahir Muhammad was, “Effect of priming on the Germination, Growth, Productivity, Mineral and Nutritional Value of seven Wheat (Triticum Aestivum L.) Genotypes under different levels and sowing time”.
Mr. Mushraf Khan worked on the topic, “Dimension and Composition of plant life in Tehsil Takht- e – Nasrati, District Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan”.
Prof. Dr. Muftakhira jan Durrani was their external examiner. Prof. Dr. Farrukh Hussain served as the scholars internal examiner.
