Stolen govt schools books recovered from Jamrud bazaar

Khyber Agency administration raided an old goods shop in Jamrud bazaar and recovered thousands of government schools’ books being stolen from government books store, official said on Sunday.

Taking action of a tip off, Jamrud assistant political agent, Jahangir Azam, said that they raided a used goods shop in Jamrud bazaar and recovered million of rupees government books. The books were stolen from a books store situated in government high school Jamrud No,2.

He said that they took the books into their custody and arrested the shop keeper identified as Hasan Jan and sent him to Jamrud lock up for investigation. Khasadar force personnel also raided the house of Yawar Hayat,a class-VI in HGS Jamrud No II, but he fled before his arrest. APA said that they would take serious action against the culprits. This scribe much tried to talk Agency Education Officer (AEO) but in vain.
