University of Peshawar, Advance Studies and Research Board in its meeting gave go ahead to eight Ph. D scholars to pursue their research topics, after thorough deliberation and revisiting its content and expected outcomes. The meeting of ASRB chaired by Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan also gave time extension to nine P. hd scholars as last relaxation to complete their thesis. Besides the topics of two P. hd scholars were differed with the directives to re-submit it in the next meeting of the body after necessary corrections.
The board also examined the status of award of P. hd degree in the field of home economics and accorded it (for the College of Home Economics) with area of specialization clearly written on the degree so awarded. While special directives to process honorarium of thesis evaluators after completion of the duty assigned to them were also issued.
