University of Peshawar and the Women Business Development Center agreed to the joint promotion of women entrepreneurship in the province, and reached a consensus on inking a formal MoU in the near future.
This was revealed in a meeting of Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz with Project Director of Women Business Development Center Nabeela Farman.
Both the parties agreed to arrange special technical trainings and business development techniques for the students of University of Peshawar at College of Home Economics and girls hostels of the university. This step is being taken to equip our students with the art of establishing their own businesses once they pass out, said the Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz.
We want to make our women job givers instead of job seekers and would continue joint efforts with relevant institutes to achieve this objective, Dr. Ayaz added. Project Director Women Business Development Center Nabeela Farman gave full assurance to support such activities and continue with mutual collaborations in future.
